Awesome book: Bought eBook
Dr. Devdutt Patnaik is good writer and writes basically about mythology. A great book: Tales of /from Ramayan are mesmerizing and Sita is kept as a main character. I'm sure readers will love it. Illustrations are pretty good too.

Very good book
Its a really good book. Written in a very easy english, captivating story line. It gives new insight into Ramayana and Sita in particular. Her life, her thoughts, her confidence and knowledge, wisdom everything is a worth to read. But some historical bloopers like Jambuvan suggetsed and gave sanjivani (It was a physician in Lanka).

Great book
loved reading this book.. excellent interpretation and explanation by Dr Devdutt!! loved they way he explains about different characters of the story in a simple manner. For the first time i read and understood Ramayana from every characters' point of view. Very inspiring.

Excellent read!
Though I am still reading the book, I find it really interesting and gripping. I simply love the exhaustive research by the author and the references at the end of each chapter. Shows that the author just wants to present the facts gathered from numerous sources and not impress his own interpretation upon you. Highly satisfied, I have bought four other books by Devdutt. Hope they are as engaging!

This book is not got us author's version of Ramayana. this book have all the great versions that have been written in centuries across the Asia plains in many languages.
If rate this book , is not just for those who wants to read it and also this book is indeed a great resource for everyone
The author includes everyone whosoever in this story by all versions how to make this accurate epic. I've been reading Ramayana one or more versions. it's so wonderful.

Fabulous Read! Kudos to Devdutta Pattanaik
This is a good book that gives you a lot of information of how Ramayana was perceived and presented by different communities from different eras and regions. But at the same time also bringing the commonalities of the true essence of Ramayana from all those texts about it. A must read!
