Skullcandy S2BLBZ-BB Headphone

I placed my order on Sept 3 2011 (5:56 PM) ... and received the package on Sept 6 2011 (1:40 PM). And once again I have nothing but high praise for Flipkart's service.

I bought these to replace my Sony In-Ear Headphones, which were probably my absolute favorite pair of headphones ever. They lasted for 2 Years and sound quality was matchless.

Having been an avid music listener for the past seven years, I was more than eager to try earphone products of an International brand. And, the only way I would suggest these is if you are more worried about looks than sound quality or price is of no issue to you. Why?

I ordered another set of In-ear headphones along with these, replacement or cheaper alternative to this expensive product. And I was surprised to hear that those inexpensive earphones (iBall Music Beat) produces same sound quality.

Now don't get me wrong, this is a quality build product with its unique looks, length of the cord is convenient, easy-to-fit ear plugs and sound is great. The small sized plugs is what I always prefer cos even if you start to sweat (while working out) they don't start to sneak out of your ear canal. These handle bass extremely well. Though not as good as Sony. The Sony's earphones have a much deeper bass to them. Also the Sony cord is sturdier and I think it will not get kinked as easily. So I would say the ONLY major problem with these earbuds is the high price.

Compared to the Rs. 375 "Philips Headphones SHE3570WT" (I have them too), these sound clearer and more detailed. But when compared to iBall Music Beat there is not much notable difference. Thus, "Skullcandy Riot Earphones" are not a product for the price. I don't think I'd buy these again unless they reduce the price, or improve the sound quality to a higher level.

In a nutshell, great sound quality but for (Rs. 872) price I can buy THREE "iBall Music Beat" which produces the SAME sound quality as this product right here does.

Overall, from one music afficiando to another - If you are looking for EXCELLENT sound quality and durability though, save up a little more for a better quality product sold by Sony. It'd be worth your while. Here's my ranking, of sort.

1. Sony (any earphone above Rs. 800)
2. Skullcandy Riot (Rs 872) TIED with iBall Music Beat (Rs 243)
3. Philips Headphones SHE3570WT (Rs. 350)

Just a quick reminder, in-ear headphones are delicate products, and OUGHT to be treated with a certain care.

yea, no complaints.. this is worth the price. I've ordered 5 from this store (for my freinds of course) and you get what you pay for, the in~ear sound will take your breath away. skullcandy is some real epic shit!! too good for the price and looks decent too. Logo in particular, i love seeing it again and again.. and also, there are different gel sizes provided so you put on the one according to your earhole size and comfort.. this comes alright out-of-the-box. You dont need to have a second thought. Forget sony, philips etc.. GET THIS GEAR!! You'll surely love it!

I received my Skullcandy Riot In-Ear Earphones Stereo S2BLBZ-BB today after a 6 day long wait (due to festive season). Although I grew impatient as days passed by, I understood why I had to wait this long only when I plugged on the in-ears into my iPod. This was great step up from my stock apple earphones. The BASS will blow your mind away, this is some epic shit! The In-Ear sound clarity is phenomenal. It might even match up to the 2k sennheiser's! The Skullcandy Riot will surely impress you with its looks. The LOGO looks great and you tend to keep looking at it over and over again. But, it's not just plain looks that skullcandy is known for. It's a performer!
You cannot find a better In-Ear Earphones within this price range. Trust me! Go for it!

hey all !!!I got my this new skull candy at 6th of Jan & when I connect with my apple Classic I-pod forgo tall the senizer, Philips,Sony& also apple Pod hand free it gives me Cristal Clear sound which I am looking for so many months & also the bass is gud!!!! treble is more i Think.....but who cares at this cost it is very cheap lil....bit dedicated ...... but the sound is classic the mono of skull candy is made beautifully at the back side of the headphone......and also comes with the three different types of ears bird which is easily fit to the ears,,,,, and last bt nt the least the service of flip kart is excellent I receive this order with in two days thanku flipkart to make my wish come true !!!!!!:)))))

My Samsung Focus shipped without its original in the box headsets. I was planning to buy a good quality headphones. Have been using the Creative EP series headphones earlier. I was extremely happy with the bass that creative produced and its much better when compared to the riots. but the overall music experience of the riot is better. I mean its not hurting my eardrums. and i can feel the bass even at lower volumes.
The problem with my Focus is that is dosent have an eq setting so i was not able to tweak the output to put the riots to the test. but all i am saying is that i am very happy with the normal settings and I will recommend these.
Complete value for money...
