Skullcandy S2INCZ-033 Headphone

Finally received them today. I got them to replace the stock earpieces of my Galaxy S as they lacked in bass. So, here's what I feel-

Highs are crystal clear.
Bass is deep but not 'loud'.
Mids try to dominate the entire frequency range which is personally not of my liking.

I used them on my Samsung Galaxy S and they sounded great with some equalizer customization. Volume was okay, not very high.

When I connected them to my laptop, the volume was very very high.
The sound quality and volume greatly depend upon the source, you see.

Don't get me wrong, this is a great product and I don't think you can get anything better than this at this price.
I have heard Sennheiser which was around Rs 1300 but it lacked in bass and volume. Panasonic again lacked in bass. The stock earphones of Sony Walkman were exceptionally good and had deep bass with awesome clarity but they were not in-ear.

Looks are killer.

If you have just a thousand bucks in your pocket then look nowhere else. The overall music experience with these pieces is awesome, to say the least.

However, if you plan to use them with something that does not a have a custom equalizer then please stay away as the over-powering mids will irritate you badly.

To those who say these earphones are less competitive - they can all take a walk! These are extraordinary for the price they are being sold for - Rs.899/- is a bargain! Crystal clear, subtle base and vivid differentiated sound effects - awesome!

And of course, as always - hats off to Flipkart's delivery service - you guys are legendary!

Note - In case you have issues with the music of the rough base - try educating yourself before complaining. You need to have atleast a 128k bitrate which determines "quality music".

The sound quality in almost all skullcandy head phones are really amazing.There is a reason why they are so low priced though.If you can get both left and right channels of the headphone to work for more than 2 months..then you are damn lucky.I firstly bought 50/50 from flipkart and as excepted the sound quality was superb.Both channels but stopped working with in 2.5 months.I thought i had done something wrong.So i bought a lil cheaper version this time called "riot".This one too had almost same sound quality.Broke down in months time.Thats too quick for anyting to break down.Same stuff happend with my friend who luckily bought an even cheaper version.So if you are looking for gr8 sound quality and no durability at all,then this brand is for you. :)

The only reason I was looking for a different earphone was because, my Panasonic RP-HJE180E-K earphone didn't have much treble. But putting aside this factor I found my Panasonic headphone really good.

After reading quite a lot of reviews, I wanted to try Skullcandy. I was very worried about the build quality as mentioned in lot of the reviews. But for me, the build quality is nothing as what I perceived after reading the reviews. It's very good.

As for the sound, the moment I plugged it to my cell phone, it turned me on. The lack of treble, missing in Panasonic, is present in the Skullcandy earphone. And the bass is magnificent. The highs and lows are very good and clear. And the volume is very much commendable. Upto half volume limit, in my cellphone, it produces fantastic output. I have never felt the need to turn the volume to maximum. And, I wont be able to. It's packs that good output. For those who want loud music, this earphone is a treat to the ears. And it is equally good for soft music lovers too. Though, I feel Panasonic provides the most comfortable and subtle output. And I think, Skullcandy S2INCZ-03 is the only earphone in its class to have a 11mm driver units. I have tested Sennheiser earphone of the same class, and I will rate this Skullcandy earphone higher than Sennheiser.

I wish it would have been a bit cheaper. But otherwise, for me, it's a superb earphone.

How lucky m I... neway cmin to the point.. earphones r just awesome.. worth every penny, even the new price... bass nd treble r perfect. The build quality is very good too..!!! The gels hav "skull" logo embossed on them.. very classy..!! as soon as u hold them in ur hand nd put them in ur ears u no its diff frm the regular products... i wud like to mention the sound quality also depends on the device ur using, the EQ settings nd also the gels ur using... try the gels which fit the best wid ur ears.. It says here tat they provide 3 sizes of gels but i got only 1 extra :( I was using sony Dr-ex14vp/b before this nd the Skull's r way better nd cheaper than those.. Soo if u hav 1000 bucks to spend on headphone, this is the thing u got to buy...dnt think just buy..!!! Nd nw its time to praise flipkart... i ordered these on 6th.. i got a email saying i'll get them on 10th or later... but to my surprise i go them on 8 itself... very much happy nd satisfied wd flipkart...
