Okay very quickly.

Bass - 9/10 (It has 2 replaceable ear buds that comes along which has altering bass response, if you'r expecting BIG BASS then YES ! ITS A WIN)

Treble - 9/10 (But, sometimes too much treble , but it can be solved by tweaking the EQ)

Volume Response - 10/10 (Perfect)

Comfort - 8/10 (Not meant for long time usage for sure but, again replaceable ear buds have different sizes to suit different size of ear)

Noise Reduction - 10/10 (I cant hear a thing other then the song, It can be dangerous if you are on road so take care of that)

Durability - I got these today so i cant really comment on that but looks solid though , i might worry about the thin wire problem that every earphone has so nothing to complaint about)

Skull Candy Reputation - These pair completely lives up-to that

Overall Rating of the Skull 4/5 Ignoring the fact that its just for 500 bucks.

Suits all kind of sounds from Classic Rock to Technical Death Metal to Techno. I am more of a Heavy Music listener , I LOVE THESE !

Sound: A bit high on treble, otherwise alright. No special emphasis on bass, which suits me fine. Somehow i didn't find the sound to be as crisp and clear as my sennheiser mx series (which was twice as costly).3/5

Comfort: gives you three pair of bud attachments for your right fit, which is good. But I won't recommended it for long hours of listening. 3/5

Noise cancellation: Chucks of quite some chatter going around in a crowded public transport. While walking fast/running it will transfer the sound of the wires rustling on your shirt. I find that irritating. 4/5

Durability: Used it for just two weeks, so can't comment much. But it doesn't seem as durable as my sennheisers. Treat it well. 3/5

Value for money: For its price I think it comes out as a good one. Nevertheless, at times I wished to shell another 400 to get the next range of skullcandy or sony. 4/5

Firstly, i've never used in-ear earphones. Never really liked them. I kinda bought these out of desperation cuz my awesome earphones of 3 years just died on me. Anyhow, comin to the earphones.....pretty good, bass wise and audio clarity wise. Still haven't gotten used to the in-ear thing. Plus if you really want to hear the bass properly u hv to really shove the earphones into you're ear. Not the most comfortable feeling for me personally. Noise cancellation is brilliant(which isn't always a good thing). Can't hear a damn thing. All in all...a pretty awesome set for a reasonable price considering it's a branded item. That's all i can say. For more info just buy it yourself :P

Received this product this evening itself. Before ordering I was a bit scared that being the lowest amongst the Skullcandy range of in ears, these might not deliver that well. But all my apprehensions were wrong as these are living up to the name of SkullCandy.
There are earphones which offer more bass than this one, but the balance between bass and vocals is lost. 2XL takes care of this balance very well and delivers good music to your ears. COldplay is sounding even more beautiful right now!
The cable seems a bit delicate. Other than that they appear good till now.
