Designed to help you take beautiful images in a close up angle or low angle, the Slik MINI II is a lightweight and versatile minipod. Hailing from the compact series of tripods from Slik, this camera trivet is ideal for use with digital SLR, digital compact and video cameras.
Weighing only 320 g, the tripod barely occupies any space in your back pack and hence is extremely portable for everyday usage. Body
On folding the Slik MINI II camera trivet it measures a length of 204 mm. The diameter of the first upper leg of the Slik MINI II trivet is 20 mm. With the built-in 2 way pan head you could pan or tilt the mounted camera. Besides this, you could also mount and remove the equipment with ease by loosening and tightening the screw in the head portion of this trivet. Great Product
I am going to keep it simple and short.
Pros:
It is perfect for the purpose it is intended to serve. Great for low angle photography (specially if you frequently use a wide lens like I do). Due to its size, it can be even steadied on the chest and used for low shutter shots or macro shots. I have tried this and it is really effective in steadying the hands. Its very light-weight and can be carried very easily everywhere. I have been using this for nearly 20 days on a regular basis and I think its really a wonderful tripod to have.
Cons:
The only thing I found lacking was that there is no quick release plate. But luckily, instead of twisting the entire pod or the camera to tighten it, the manufacturers have cleverly placed a screw below the plate which can be tightened to fix the camera. Its very stable and only at times I found the quick release to be lacking. Also the head moves in two axes only, horizontal and vertical. There is no oblique movement and that makes its a bit cramped at times.
Overall, I am very happy with the tripod. For the price and for the purpose I am using it, it is perhaps the best buy. Rest is on your needs and budget!

Great Stuff
First of all, Thanks Flipkart for the product and service.
I am a freelance photographer and was searching for an economical low hight tripod for some desired angles ans product photography and i landed on this product.
Pro's:
Light n Handy
easy to carry
good built quality.
Con's:
Sometimes not good for heavy load
Quick shoe cant be removed.
No Steering handle.(its available on higher version)

Very Small sized tripod
Slik Mini II is a very small sized tripod. I bought this hoping that it would fit my small camera bag (Vanguard BIIN 37)and amazingly it fitted in that bags upper compartment quite easily. Mind you, Vanguard BIIN 37 is a tiny little camera bag.
This tripod is very well built too. It looks quite solid and stable with the camera weight on it.
Perfect tripod for me, exactly what I was looking for. Easy to carry..

Excellent Product
This is a very good tripod for low height photography. It is compatible with digital camera as well as SLR camera. It can hold SLR with telephoto zoom lenses. Due to its size we can carry it anywhere easily. Moreover the Tripod is excellent.
Flipkart delivery as well as packing was very good. Moreover Flipkart packing is best comparable to others.

I bought this product from Flipkart and it was delivered to me on time..Good Job once again.
The product is not very sturdy. and the suction base on the tripod is of no use. The legs does not take much weight and keeps opening up as there is no locking mechanism.
It was a waste of money.
