Socio Economic Conditions Of Tribes

In this book an attempt is made to analyse the socio, economic, cultural, religious and living conditions of different tribes in Srikakulam district. The contents of this book are designed to serve the needs of wide variety of readers including economists, anthropologists, sociologits, public administrators and political theoreticians. Based on both primary and secondary sources of data collected from field study, this work portrays the evaluation and analysis of tribal agriculture, employment conditions, income expenditure patterns, estiamtion of pvoerty levels, indebtedness and credit patterns of selected tribal house hodls of Seetampeta tribal mandal of Srikakulam distirct in Andhra Pradesh.

Dr. (Mrs.) A.Sailaja Devi (b. 1962) completed her post graduation in Rural Development in Andhra University Dr. B.R. Ambedkar PG Centre, Srikakulam. She has awarded Ph.D. Degree in the year 2002 from Andhra University. She worked as project fellow in the UGC Major Research projects on triabl Finance. She is the author of number of research articles in different journals and her research papers are edited in different textbooks; she has participated and presented research and seminars.
