Best book on numerical for Geotechnical engineering
The book can be helpful to students who wish to specialize in Geotechnical engg at PG level. It clears all basics and has more numericals, both solved & unsolved, than any other book on Geotech engg. The book does contain lots of extra stuff, so it becomes necessary to keep the syllabus copy handy while studying from this book.
My Experience with this book
I am a student of diploma in civil engineering..passed with 83% marks. But truly speaking buying this book was a great mistake of mine. Whenever i opened this book and wanted to understand the subject it made me confused every time.Reasons are:
1.It makes a complicated subject more complicated.
2. This books contains somany unnecessary topics which are not required for students to understand the subject.
I would suggest average students never buy this book.
