One of the best books on Indian history that I have read.

Wonderful Book - must read for all indian history lovers
Just ordered this book from Flipkart and got it in 2-3 days after ordering. A must read for all history lovers, especially indian history. The best thing about this book is the way events are presented along with a special "sootradhar" section which is like an icing on the cake. Enjoyed reading every bit of it. The book really gives you a good overview of the Battle at Panipat and the aftermath of the battle.It was very well researched and had lots of references.

The 3rd battle of Panipat is very important for Maharashtrians, it put to rest their ambitions to rule India in the short term.
This book gives an extremly unbiased view of the whole battle and the events leading upto it.
