Financial Management is the process of managing financial resources including accounting and financial reporting, budgeting, risk management and insurance for a business. The numerical examples presented in the book help immensely in understading the subject-fully. The book has been divided into twelve chapters and presents immensely useful and typical model numerical problems related to the concerned chapter. It also presents the objectives of each chapter in the beginning. These examples help the students and managers to understand the concept of each chapter thoroughly.

Dr. Manu Agarwal (Born 4th August 1976, died 24th July 2004) was an introvert, soft-spoken person with ever smiling face. A silver medalist in National Talent Search Contest in Mathemtics, he was an emerging personality in the field of Corporate Management. After completing his secondary education from Colvin Collge, Lucknow, he completed his MMS (Master of Management Science) in 1999 from Lucknow University. He cleared NET (National Eligibility Test) from UGC and get doctorate (PH.D) from Lucknow University in 2003.
