The DSC-WX7 camera has various scene modes such as Twilight, Twilight Portrait, Landscape, Soft Snap, Snow, Beach, Fireworks, High Sensitivity, Gourmet, Pet, and Soft Skin. The Backlight Correction HDR analyzes and adjusts the image to give well lit shots.This Sony point and shoot camera uses Optical SteadyShot image stabilization, Motion Detection and Face Motion Detection to reduce camera blur. The camera also has Anti-Motion Blur Mode which captures six images in a fraction of a second and then combines it to create a single image with more details and almost none camera blur. The Sony DSC-WX7 digital camera also features an Anti-blink function and Smile Shutter technology to produce flawless pictures.
The Sony camera can shoot Full HD videos at resolution of 1920 x 1080 - 60fps. The video can be recorded in AVCHD and MPEG 4 format, while images can be shot in Normal JPEG and Hi-Speed Burst JPEG format. Face detection feature can detect up to 8 faces and Self timer can be set at 2 and 10 sec duration. The Continuous Shot mode can take 10 pictures at 10 fps. The Sony DSC-WX7 supports USB 2.0 and HDMI output.

Good camera for my budget
It came in a sturdy package to me and I find its quality quite good for its price. It shoots sharp pictures. It is quite user-friendly. It has several options under the Menu function and also when the wheel provided on the camera is rotated. The pictures are quite easy to transfer directly to Facebook, since the PMB software that comes with it in the CD provided by them provides for direct transfer online to Picasa as well. I am also happy that the camera's memory can be easily upgraded.

Brilliant clarity
I have been using this camera for 1 year now. I had bought it from FLipkart, for around 12000 rupees. It is sleek, easy to use and it produces excellent quality pictures.
I mostly use the camera in its "Super intelligent auto" mode. The automatic mode produces the best possible photo as per your current ambiance.
HD video, 3D Panaroma are some of its cool features.
I like to take pictures with a blurred background. This camera gives me the mode (Background defocus) for clicking those photos. However, this particular mode has its limitations.
Overall, it's a power packed camera from Sony. If you prefer automatic settings in a camera, this one is for you. It has so many features; but surprisingly, I do not need to care about anything at all. The camera itself adjusts everything for me when I push the click button :)

Simply Amazing
Brilliant product from Sony. I purchased this camera since I was very tried of changing settings on my own every time I wanted to click. The intelligent mode in this camera is the most I use. Just point n shoot and you get the best images you can. The sweep panorama mode is easy to use to and makes clicking huge landscapes a piece of cake.
Overall the camera build quality is good and has a good battery life too.
The night mode is great even in complete blackouts. The camera starts instantly and allows you to click within no time making sure you miss no moments.
The camera is handy and fits easily in pocket.
Five stars from my side.
