This Sony digital photo frame weighs 344 g and has a sleek design. The rim of the photo frame has a bezel design and gives the Sony photo frame an elegant look. The control buttons of this Sony digital picture frame are on the back panel of the body.The Sony DPF-A710 is powered by an AC power adaptor that can function in a voltage range of 100 - 240 V. The digital frame consumes 5 watts of power. With the multiple power On/Off settings, you can also save power and have the Sony digital frame switch off automatically.
Connectivity and Features
The Sony digital picture frame lets you watch images in JPEG, TIFF, BMP and RAW file formats. External storage devices that are compatible with this DPF-A710 are memory sticks like MagicGate MS Duo and MS PRO-HG Duo. Also compatible with this Sony digital picture frame are memory cards like Mini SDHC card and Micro SDHC card and MMC like RS-MMC and MMC Plus. With the USB Mini B-type high speed port, you can also connect flash drives and your computer to the Sony digital picture frame and download or view images from them.Images can be seen individually or in slideshow mode with creative transition effects. Appreciate the shipment service...But.....
i would like to highlight one mistake the flipkart people did..is they mentioned the ALARM CLOCK....in specs. and also in description.(and removed it later after my complain on 20 dec. 2011)...just to inform you guys ...research very well before placing any order.........rest is good ..shipping is no doubt best in the business !!!...
about the product:
1)..it looks like a small TV (loved by my family).
2) xcellent Product to Gift someone.
3) no batteries.
4) kindly go through the official website of the product also before finalising.

A great product for Gift
Sony 7 inch digital photo frame I bought to gift someone .Its a perfect wedding gift. great display. calendar option is there slideshow timing can be controlled . Only two thing I wish if was there it could be a best gift ever.
1. there is no battery option. so It needs to be close to a power outlet.
2. no usb drive. I wish it was there. SD card slot is good. but USB port is better
