A great productivity tool from SE

Well, after me awaiting for like seven months,.. the device finally reached the shelves in mumbai. flipkart was a little late (a bit too late really), and out of impatience, i bought it from elsewhere. Its been almost a month, so the review below comes out of a neat experience.

first and foremost, the device - its is totally charming. the screen looks absolutely brilliant. reading text (which was my primary requirement) is really really crisp even in low brightness. the screen is vividly vis...

Best option if you need physical keyboard with android

I have been using this for last 2 weeks and I must say I am impressed. I researched a lot before buying this phone. As I am a avid internet user and also use SMS a lot, typing comfortably is my most important aspect for choosing a phone. I had a Samsung Wave 533 earlier, which had a nice slide-out keyboard. I love that feature and when I started researching, this XPeria Pro caught my attention.

Pros:
----------------------------
1. Good social networking integration.
2. Gingerbread OS - tons...

S.E.X. Pro - Awesome phone!!

Awesome phone !! I have been using it for almost a week now. My only grudge is the battery life which lasts a whole day. The screen is superb. I have compared it with Xperia Neo, the screen on the pro is much brighter. Also the camera is quite good. the keyboard is awesome with raised keys which are quite spacious. I really liked the HDMI cable which they packed along with the phone. I can just copy-paste videos onto my phone without converting them which can be played on my phone as well as ...

Wow such a amazing phone

Sony Ericsson as a company undergoing a slight change, one would expect their devices to do so as well. Sadly that’s not the case, however, there never really was a generalcause of concern for users to take up issue with too many of SE’s devices with regards to functionality or styleThe same can be said about the newly launched Xperia Pro. Here’sacloser look.Form FactorAvailable in 3 colors – silver, black and red with a chrome rim and a superbly slick slide-out QWERTY keypad, the Xperia Pro ...

High End Android Phone with affordable price tag

After doing research for more than 10 days, I zeroed into Sony Experia Pro, the only android phone with full qwerty physical keyboard, slider. This phone is the best available at the price point of just above 15k. With the features such as high end camera, pan photo, fast processor, good memory space, HD resolution screen & sturdy hardware, this phone though out of production, I believe should still be in demand. Thank U Flipkart for good price and fastest delivery time. They deliver ahead of...

exactly what i wanted

the things i was looking for:
android phone
big enough screen
still fits into pocket
preferably with keypad (i dont like wiping fingers on screen)
lightweight
and if it looks good, well why not?
started searching and narrowed down from xperia mini pro and xperia ray to xperia ray and pro. difference between ray and pro was that pro has a keyboard and ray weighs just 100 gms (42 grams less than pro). ray is thinner too. so was stuck for a long time thinking about the size and weight of pro. th...

Totally worth the 17k spent...

Well, i had no other choice but to go for a new phone once my Nokia E52, another brilliant and inexpensive phone, died on me. And after a long search i really found something for which i was willing to raise my budget, although only slightly. I wasn't convinced at first but slowly realized that for 17k SE Xperia pro is an amazing deal. Here are the deal clinchers:

1. It has an 8.1 MP camera and coupled with Sony's EXMOR sensor the phone shoots excellent-quality pictures. Although the front-f...

Why I booked this

Why I selected this over xperia neo v:-
8.1 mp camera
qwerty key board; however it makes it heavier than neo v but its ok.

Why I selected thai over Samsung s/s plus:-
As per my marketing prof; it's very difficult to convince Sony users to buy different brand; I am using Sony Ericsson (now sony mobile) from last 7 yrs and m very much satisfied with camera and voice quality.
even if Samsung offers 99/ 100 and sony 90/ 100; I prefer sony.
Even if sony has single core processor; its much better ...

I'm lovin it

Its just been a few days since I got this phone..but already I am loving it.. awesome display and very responsive phone ..
Being an android ...so many more options are available which makes this phone a complete package!!
The only issue... Battery ... runs out in a day.. but then its an android and you should be ready for that!

To the point review

Screen - Excellent with good viewing angles, vibrant and accurate colors, high ppi.
Call Quality: Average, Network reception is good, I have traveled from torangallu to rudrapur and network (Vodafone) reception was good.
Keyboard: Awesome. Makes typing very very easy.
Graphics: very poor, the on screen animations are fluid but don't expect temple run, fifa, asphalt 7 to run smooth on this set. After upgrading to ics not a single game runs smoothly.
Upgrading to ics: except games everything im...
