I am from Secundrabad (INDIA). On Saturday 24th November 2012 bought this ICD-UX533F/B from Sony outlet. I googled in and around for the reviews and could not get much of information before buying the product. Here is my hands on the product.
Advantages:
1) Light weight , Easy to cary.
2) Small compact (Much smaller than what you see on the web). Size looks like a thousand rupee china mobile.
3) Has a amazing internal memory of 4 gigs. Expandable memory option available.

nice but ?????
lost its accompanying battery
so used the normal everyday AAA battery and it lasted for 2 days. iam not joking. what idid was just listen to FM on its loudspeaker.
then bought duracell AAA 4 days back and noe its showing low battery. i only listened for 6 hrs a day fm and songs.
recording no doubt better than cell fones

My experience
I have brought this product from Sony shop. Great looks! Great brand to flaunt around!!! Many features like FM , data tranfer facility etc good. But most products currently have all these. What is missing?! I was using a basic model of CENiX, for speech practice, trainings etc. clear loud output from a 150 mW speaker which can be heard in a room with say around 30 people. and used for over 4 years and still going great. To my suprise, many Sony models lag behind and has only a 9...

One of the best quality voice recorders
In this price range, this recorder is probably the best one could get their hands on. Noise reduction is amazing. I tested this recorder in open hall concerts. The quality of sound is great.
Transferring files is also very simple as it already has a USB interface. You can achieve nearly studio quality recording if you connect the device directly to the audio monitor system via the mic port.
Worth the money.

it's a great product. voice clarity is awesome. i use it for voice notes and repetitive listening of same. it's very energy efficient, once fully charged 750mah battery plays for approximately 30 hours.

sony icd-ux533f..i have bought from you in 2017 but its usb port (for charging battery) has been inactive after 1 yr. Nowhere it has been possible to get alternative usb port. it is now useless, inactive. Have any measure for changing against new one?
