Sony MDR-E818L Headphone

i bought these one and a half year back and quite satisfied with my purchase they are quite loud and bass with my sony walkman is really good better than any mp3 player in the price range
it is extremely durable as till now going good even after 18 months but avoid winding it around your mp3 player and phone as they tend to harm the cable and headphones die out after a year (happened to me with previous headphones ) not recommende with a computer due to short cable and lacking bass.
in this price range good headphone for really good sound quality
and bass though short cable may hinder you using it while jogging

From the price range of Rs. 99 to 490, no other headphone matches Impedance of 16 Ohm, with Sensitivity of 108 dB/mW, which makes this headphone real loud. You will never need to turn the volume to the fullest extent. On 80% volume, you will stop getting nearby noise, which would be useful while traveling by trains.

Till the price point of Rs.490, no other headphone offers Frequency Response of 12 - 22000 Hz, which helps in catching small bass hums in the music. Because of the high sensitivity, you can feel the bass at very low volume, too. Since this is an open air headphone, to get the full bass effect, you would need to press the buds in your ear, while playing the track. This may seem an disadvantage, but it is safer than the closed air headphones, which completely isolates the eardrums from the surroundings. Just play any track, press headphones against the ear, you will get a pure multiplex/ theater surround feel. It has a very strong and deep bass.

The next best is Sony MDR-E11LP, which has similar features, but its Frequency Response 10 - 22000 Hz and Maximum Power Input 100 mW are better than this headphone.
So, in short, from Rs.99 - Rs.490 price point, Sony MDR-E818L Headphone is the best. Don't get caught by cheaper prices or brand names of other headphones.

I have been using these earphones since the last five years. However, because of a silly accident, the wires of one of my earpads got cut. I rushed online to see if Flipkart had a similar product, but, as always, Flipkart had the exact product for me to buy.

The Sony brand is well known for its reliability and delivery quality in its products. When added with Flipkart's assurance of providing original products, I was not hesitant to order the product from here.

The product does exactly what it says. It fits snugly in your ear and has exactly the right amount of maximum volume to drown out the ambient noise. Although it does not have fancy features like noise cancellation, which is standard in higher-end earphones, the quality and amount received at this price is just what you'd want.

I am sure if you buying this from Flipkart, you will have no issues at all.

I bought this 2 years back for 500 locally. The sound is very loud. I am using this with Transcend mp330 4gb, i only have to turn volume 4 bars up to get high volume. The base is good, my player has limited bass in the hardware. I tested this with sony walkman 2gb, sound and bass was super. I also tested with philips gogear old model 2gb, it will not work well with gogear. what happend is, if i turn up the volume it will become unbearably loud, if i reduce it by one bar, volume will become quiet. so can't enjoy music. problem with philips gogear itself, i won't blame sony.
overall this will last a long time and is worth your money.

I don't know that anyone will believe me or not by my this headphone lasted for 6 years of continuous use!!! Now its one side is dead. If you want to get dynamic sound with great bass use earbuds on it, you'll be amazed by the way the sound will change. And this headphone is working good with sony products such as walkman.
A good headphone at this price range.
A must buy...
