Sony has engineered MDR-E818LP to meet the requirements of audiophiles who are equally conscious about fashion. The in-the-ear design promises to isolate the ambient noise to create a completely natural listening experience. The ear buds have been ergonomically designed to sit in your outer ear and produce crisp and clear sound without any distortion. This headphone offers you wired connectivity with a range of mobile phones and music players. The MDR-E818LP utilises Neodymium magnet to transform the electrical signals into sound waves.
This lightweight and compact headphone has been beautifully crafted to produce clean and clear sound. A wire streams downwards from each ear bud to meet each other at chest level and form a single cable that continues further to terminate into a 3.5 mm plug. This plug is of angular nature to reduce the stress exerted at the junction of the wire and the plug. Further, this headphone has a 1 m long cable that gives you enough space to conveniently place the audio source on your body.
This Sony headphone sports an elegant look that has integrated a range of features to boost the overall listening experience. This headphone seeks the help of two 16 mm headphone driver units to transform the electrical inputs into sound waves. This Sony headphone has 16 ohm of impedance that makes this headphone adequately loud. Further, this headphone is highly efficient as it has 108 dB/mW of sensitivity. Additionally, the sound produced packages maximum detail to create a completely immersive listening experience as the frequency response lies between 12 Hz and 22000 Hz. The ear buds of this headphone house acoustic twin turbo circuit that promises extreme level of precision in the sound produced that too, without any distortion. The stereo sound mode proves highly efficient as it produces deep lows, sharp highs and a clear sound from the midrange frequencies. This headphone supports maximum 50 mW of power input.

Long lasting headphone with good sound reproduction...I don't know that anyone will believe me or not by my this headphone lasted for 6 years of continuous use!!! Now its one side is dead. If you want to get dynamic sound with great bass use earbuds on it, you'll be amazed by the way the sound will change. And this headphone is working good with sony products such as walkman.

Best after Sony MDR-E11LP (490/-)From the price range of Rs. 99 to 490, no other headphone matches Impedance of 16 Ohm, with Sensitivity of 108 dB/mW, which makes this headphone real loud. You will never need to turn the volume to the fullest extent. On 80% volume, you will stop getting nearby noise, which would be useful while traveling by trains.

long lasting quality earphonesI bought this 2 years back for 500 locally. The sound is very loud. I am using this with Transcend mp330 4gb, i only have to turn volume 4 bars up to get high volume. The base is good, my player has limited bass in the hardware. I tested this with sony walkman 2gb, sound and bass was super. I also tested with philips gogear old model 2gb, it will not work well with gogear. what happend is, if i turn up the volume it will become unbearably loud, if i reduce it by one bar, volume will become quiet. so can't enjoy music. problem with philips gogear itself, i won't blame sony.

I like my earphones Looooouuuuddd !!I like these earphones but the volume is so loud that it comes out of the earphones, so I only use them when I'm at home. It's great for using on the laptop while watching movies because the sound is very clear and loud.
