never buy it !!!!!! it sucks............!!!!!!!
i had bought it around a week after its launch from a sony retailer. this sucks. psp 3004 is much-much-much better.
it is just 1000rs less than psp 3004. it just has a mono speaker(single speaker) while psp 3004 had dual(two). the screen resolution is not at all good. the material used for the body is third class. it doesn't have an inbuilt wi-fi so you cant connect to the playstation store and all. You wont be able to surf the net or download things from the playstation store. the biggest disadvantage is that it has an inbuilt battery. if it hangs, you wont be able to do anything. you wont be able to switch it off and you wont be able to take out the battery so you will have to wait till the baattery is drained out. most of us modify it and play pirated games which is much-much cheaper, it will hang a lot of times and you will have to wait everytime for the battery to drain out which is like 4-5 hours. it doesnt have all the slots which psp 3004 had such as the one through which you could connect it to the tv and play games on it.
never buy it. i have experienced it and i am suffering.

Excellent
The PSP E1004 is in almost every way the same as a PSP 3004, barring the lack of wifi, tv out and stereo speakers. This shouldn't put you off because the gaming experience is great. Having had both the devices I can say you won't notice the difference. I've used the PSP3004 for over 3 years now and since the PSP Browser is so slow surfing is just too painful anyway. The TV out is not necessary because the games are optimised for the PSP's smaller screen and the display on a normal TV will only make you notice the flaws. And as for the stereo speakers... get yourself a good pair of stereo earphones (yes the output through the headphones remains stereo).
The PSP E1004 should have been released years ago. Forget about the lack of wifi, tv out and stereo speakers and use the device for what it is meant for... Gaming on the move!

Nice But Not Complete
This device looks great. The PSP-E1000 is a budget-focused model of the PSP. It has goods and bads.
Good-
1)Affordable.
2)Every thing like other Models
3)Almost same game Experience.
Bad-
1)No WiFi. (That's Bad)
2)No Tv-Out. (That's Sad)
3)No Stereo Speaker.
4)Not great as PSP-3000
Though Flipkart is demanding the actual maximum retail price of this Console.
Waiting for Flipkart to bring the PSP 3004 or PSP 3006 models with great price and various colors. Please Flipkart, Don't make us wait so long

Best handheld console
I think that it is the best handheld console> Forget DS,3DS,Play On etc. It is not better than the PSP 3004 but if you want to buy a console for playing game,listening music,watching videos you must buy a PSP E 1004. It's fault is that it sometimes gets hanged while playing games and graphics are not that good as PS2. But if you want a portable console, it is the best one.
