Sony SRS - D5 2.1 Multimedia Speakers

Received it yesterday(14th oct,2011), nicely packed and prompt delivery.

Pros:
- Works well on PC.
- distorts less on high volume.
- Bass works heavy on bassy songs and does not interrupt any soft songs.
- No other good speaker in its price category

Cons:
- Its not made for ipods and mobile phones. The volume with smaller devices is too low and bass is also minimal.
- Bit pricy and bulky speakers.
- Power cord cable is too short.

Final Verdict : No Regrets.

Recived the product 2 days back...Excellent packing by Flipkart. Sony has always lived upto to the its caption " Make. Beleive". You can clearly feel difference in the Bass thumping quality, voice clarity etc of Sony with comparison to others. No distortion even at full volume

Head Phone jack is at the back of Satellite speaker
You cannot connect satellite speakers to any other woofer (unique make)

These speakers are looking rich & the brand name on it adds value.Finishing is greater then picture.Sound filling & Bass is very good.Zero noise even at high volume.

I really happy to see it's supporting my ipod touch and iphone 3GS.
The Left satellite speaker have controls, stereo jack (3.5mm Male),Earphone socket & two unique Female sockets (Not regular) for remaining two speakers.

I purchased this knowing that there is no treble controller.For Treble lovers these speakers are disappointment.For me the equalizer in player is enough.

Not a stylish but rich in looks.

Finally the price is not available anyware except Flipkart.u can check it.Solid packing & delivered in time.

1- The price for this item is the lowest on the flipkart.
2- This speaker is the best for BASE sound...
3- It is better than creative because woffer speaker is covered into cabinet.
4- the sattelite speakers is also produce very well sound.
5- in the range of 20W woffer no other brand provide you that 20W woffer please check specification for other brand.
6- SRS technology is patent by the SONY. so none other can produce this type of sound.
7- Only funny thing is that speaker like INTEX provide loud sound and 20W woffer in a very cheap range. But in the sound quality SONY is the best.
8- This speaker power provided via DC ADAPTER.
and the last I heartly congrats to flipkart they sent me this item in 4 days in a small town named Farrukhabad. Very good packing and service...

I bought this blindly since there are no reviews on any forums or tech sites. Also i have owned a lot of logitech, creative and altec products in the past including the mx5021.
I was looking for a temp solution and came across these.
Firstly thanks to Flipkart for the super fast delivery and bulletproof packing, secondly this is a good buy at this price point, the speakers sound decent , the subwoofer delivers a nice soft punch and the speakers look good on the desk.
The wires are a little flimsy and are half as thick as what others would offer but that is a small issue.
The dialogues in movies and games can be heard clearly and listening to music too is not a bad experience. The woofer does not invade the midrange as much as the others and the controls on the left speaker front make it easy and accessible to tweak volume and bass levels. There's a headphone out at the back of the left speaker.
