Sony VAIO SVE15118FN Laptop (3rd Gen Ci7/ 4GB/ 750GB/ Win7 HP/ 2GB Graph)

I purchased this sony VAIO from a Exclusive Sony showroom, at that time it was not in Flipcart.

I am a Comp Eng and its my first VAIO but third laptop I owned. I have used HCL, DELL, LENOVO(Think Pad, Idea Pad), HP/Compaq, Fujitsu.

Pros:-
Amazing looks
Nice LED screen for a 1366 x 768
Really soft and good keyboard.
Very powerful( core i7, 2gb Radeon, 8gb ram(upgraded ))
Works amazing with Sony Bravia

Cons:-
Delicate ( Check the issue below)
Battery backup is 2.5 hrs Normal operation.(Higher config config Samsung had 5 hrs)

ISSUE:-
One month science I purchased I saw the impression of the keyboard on my screen, on the bezel near the Sony logo and webcam. The impressions are getting deeper though I keep my screen and keyboard clean since its white in color and cleaning has no effect.

MY OBSERVATION:-
The lid is not strong enough that a little pressure makes the screen touch the keyboard. Even carrying the laptop in your hand might exert enough pressure.The screen is a LED to a little pressure is enough to make an impression.

WHAT VAIO CARE HAS TO SAY ABOUT IT:-
1> "You must use silicon cover for the keyboard"
2> "Blame me that I keeping heavy things on the laptop"
3> "Pressure exerted by my hands when I hold it"
4> [MY personal BEST] "To make it look good they made it DELICATE and ITS MY FAULT THAT I PURCHASED THIS PRODUCT"

Don go by the looks of it. These looks will hurt you soon.

All this comment are fake. i use this laptop since 3 month and i didn't find any type of mistake in it. i play counter strike, g.t.a. 4, fifa 11, resident evil, nfs the run, call on duty and many more and i didn't find any type of problem while playing this game. this is very good laptop at this price.

Reinstalling the OS corrects the problem with TurboBoost!!!
I have used the recovery disks.
You must uninstall the Vaio Care program and all other unwanted Sony applications so that windows loads quickly.

This is a great laptop. The only problem is low battery backup.

i bought sve15128 with same config but it is a waste , on the first run the touchpad stopped working after sometime keyboard then it didn't booted after first shut down , on the first day i took my dream machine to sony care :( disappointed by sony. and HDD is slow too :(

i have bought this product from flipkart.it very awsome the highlight is its keyboard backlight,it has auto recovery so you don't have think problem for installing drivers it will automatically when you recovery the os and this product is little bit weight
