I have been using this phone for 3 days & I have been quite satisfied with what i got.

The size of the phone is perfect (4.6 inches screen) which is pretty comfortable to hold without feeling awkward unlike those 5 inchers!

Phone is a bit on the heavy side, but i personally like the weighty feel of it.

Many people are complaining about the lcd display. I didnt find any issue with that. The screen has a vivid display enhanced by the bravia 2 engine...& the viewing angles are not as bad as s...

For about 2 yrs Sony's hold on the mid-range market has been strong and Xperia SP makes the 20-30k range a one horse race.

I bought this phone from a local store and have been playing with it from past 2 days. here is my short review:)

GOOD THINGS FIRST...

1. Screen is an absolute stunner.. so sharp and vivid.. mobile bravia engine2 is also here which does only good things enhances the viewing experience and adjusts the contrast.

So I have been using this phone for almost 2 weeks now, sufficient time to see the good and bad things about a phone.

Lets not talk about the specifications, everyone knows about them.

Pros:
- handy phone
- pretty fluid in use
- camera speed better than previous xperia phones (dont know about arc)
- good sound quality with decent headphones
- basic telephony is flawless

Cons:
- supplied headphone sucks
- not a point and shoot camera replacement
- charger cable length way too small

I got this phone from a retailer at 24K INR. I was a Sony Ericsson user since 7 years.. Now moved to SOny...
Few things i would like to mention about this phone which should be a measuring tool:

1. As compared to Galaxy Grand and Windows phone, this phone is slightly higher priced by 2-3 K, so what.. you get some worthy benefits for the incremental costs that we pay:

a) 1.7 Ghz Processor-Dual Core [ which not all phones provide at 24K priced ] along with 1GB RAM and 5.6 GB user available ...

2 weeks experience with sp- butterly smooth and a treat to have for gamers and video lovers...

built quality- better then plastic body of s3.. sp has a premium alumininum frame which look better then its competitors and a solid build which feels safe in hand easy to hold a use. camera button provided which is not there in other devices now a days.

camera- camera is awsome great pictures in light conditions and also good in dark with led flash.. sony camera best in class as known for years.....
