Spice M-4262

Wanted a mobile to use at my work place as camera mobiles are not not allowed in office .. started searching for non camera phones and found this 1 to fit my requirements.Flipkart delivery was nice. Overall phone is an average performer.
Advantages:
Cheap,nice torch,good battery,Though it has small screen it plays videos well,Separate buttons for calling from slave sim and master sim which is good for dual sim users, Network reception is very good on both the sim cards.

Disadvantages:
Audio player takes 3-5 mins to track 400 songs available in the memory stick.(it has to be updated when the sim is reinserted or phone was switched off.)
,Poor reception of sound while on call(Could have been better)
,Quality of the material looks very cheap(What do you expect from this price),It has an image viewer but was uable to use it yet.. may be it requires some expertise(I am opening images manually from the filemanager so dont have option to go to previous or next image),Speaker volume is low and music doesnt sound good,Doesnt have 3.5 mm jack so have to use the provided ear phone which is not that good,No gprs feature

Overall a good package at a very cheap price.
I dont think you would be reading this review if you are looking for high end mobile

I HAVE PURCHASED THIS MOBILE AS WE IN OUR ORGANISATION ARE NOT SUPPOSED TO CARRY ANY MOBILE WITH CAMERA OR GPRS. SO I WAS BOUND TO GO FOR THIS. BUT IS WAS HORRIFYING EXPERIENCE. EVERY SECOND DAY THE OUTGING & INCOMING RINGTONE GOES OFF AND THE PERSON WHOM I AM CALLING AND WHO I CALLING ME CANNOT LISTEN TO EACH OTHER. WHEN SOMEBODY CALLS ME RINGTONE DOESN'T COMES, JUST LIGHT BLINKS. I REPORTED THIS TO FLIPKART BUT THESE PEOPLE ASKED ME TO GO FOR RESTORING OF FACTORY SETTING. I DID THAT AND IT BECAME OK. BUT NOW 30 DAYS OF DELIVERY PERIOD IS OVER, EVERY SECOND DAY SAME PROBLEM OCCURS AND NOW FLIPKART IS NOT DOING ANYTHING THOUGH I HAVE GIVEN COMPALINT WELL IN TIME.
SO I SUGGEST U ALL NOT TO BUY THIS MOBILE, IT EVEN HANGS UP, THOUGH FOR 10-15 SECONDS. INSTEAD GO FOR NOKIA-101, ITS LOT BETTER THAN THIS.

I bought this phone just to receive and make calls (conference calls too), not for any advance feature except dual SIM.

But once I started using it I found following things:
Pros:
1. Cheap phone.
2. Light weight.
3. Good battery life.

Cons:
1. Speaker is of not good quality.
2. Can not make conference call.
3. Get earache if make a long call without headset.
4. Installed software's are not user friendly.
5. Hard key pad.

Conclusion: Not worth it to buy

"Value for money" 8 GB card support. record phone calls (inbuilt software. 1299 is just "Value for money" I have purchased 2 handsets both are working fine.

mobile Spice M 4262. The mobile's speaker has stopped functioning and I have to use the speaker for conversations.The keys are heavy and requires couple of hard presses to activate. Chose this for a dual sim without camera but isn't happy about the phone.The manufacturer is poor in response
