Spice Mi-350n

Got this fone from market since last week. Highly satisfied till now. You can compare it against Micromax A75, which is bit more expensive. You get more colors, higher screen resolution and a better battery for less. If you want your first Android, go for it!

USB charging (kind of a standard now)(standard microusb cable; can get it anywhere if it gets spoiled).
3.5 headphone pin (you can replace it from market).
Good build quality.
Very good quality in-ear earphones.
Best dual sim 3g and Android phone (If you want all these three, there is nothing better).
Can install and play Angry Bird and Rio.
Can install and run Opera and dolphin browser.
Can install kingsoft office (free)
Can install and use Talking Tom 2 (its really funny!)
Can install and use Acrobat reader
Can install and use QR&Barcode Droid

FM player requires headphone to be plugged.
Camera quality is biggest letdown. I would gladly pay extra 2k for a better camera.
The stock camera app is total crap (You can install camera 360 from android market).
Compass behaviour is very bad (revolves around 360 degrees and clueless which is the direction; may be an isolated case with me).
BSE NSE app uses network. Tried hard to disable it still it crops up. Though I don't use it, the app is really well made.
Can't uninstall the crappy applications bundled (there are so many of them!).
Google talk does not talk to me (may be an isolated case; verify it.)
No Flash support
No preinstalled office suite. A better office suite would set you back by 500 approx.
1400 mAh battery, still goes down in a single day.
Length of charger cable is short.
Terminating apps required a task manager / killer app (common android problem).
Pressing the top button requires getting used to (have to press it every now and then).

In total, The price makes it a good buy. A better camera with a less number of crappy apps would have made it better. Well we can't have it all.

Got this phone day before yesterday, and I can vouch that this phone is feature-rich and a real steal at this price!

What I love about this phone: Video calling, dual SIM, android 2.3, big screen, good camera, apps run fast, apps install on the SD card.

As far as I know, among all the android phones, only the high end Samsung galaxy phones, which cost 2 to 3 times more, support video calling. So how Spice managed it (and heavy-weights like Sony and HTC have not) defies logic. Plus it is Dual SIM, which is a life saver when the signal is low in the primary network.

What I dont like about the phone:
1. The back cover: it comes off too easily and is hard to put back on.
2. Too many embeded apps which cannot be uninstalled.
3. The screen is not crisp, but the video play back is still quite good.

It would have been a killer phone if it didnt have so many embedded apps, and a faster processor to support Adobe flash. But for this price range, this is THE best phone you can buy right now!

I received this phone on the second day after I placed the order for it. Packaging was excellent. The phone was in a sealed box and so was not tampered with. When you feel the phone in your hand you can sense it's sturdiness. It looks strong and robust. The features this phone provides is excellent too. Wifi, 3G, video calling all working good. Internet browsing is also smooth. Android provides various applications that can enhance the features like battery saver. Now my battery lasts longer. Overall the phone is excellent for me.
However the camera is not so good on this phone. It lacks led flash. No screen guard and case cover provided. Spice should have included them and I don't know whether they are available anywhere. Also a memory card of around 4gb would have been excellent with it.
This phone is better than micromax A75 and maybe is the best in it's class.

Received this phone yesterday. First and foremost is flipkart service. I dont think any ecommerce can beat them. Super fast delivery. Coming on to the phone, few pros and cons noted.
As most of the folks have told about pros, i am highlighting what could have done better.
1. Lots of embedded apps which are not useful consumes lots of memory and cannot move these to SD card due to which, phone performance declines. Spice should have thought from user's point of few and should have been user preference. How a guy in bangalore can use Delhi metro, just an example.
2. Or internal memory should be more which is not there in phone.
3. Managing apps is not that easy, still i am figuring out how to move all the unwanted apps to a junk folder.
4. I dont think there is provision to upgrade the firmware, if so then Spice should come pro actively think on users perspective.
5. Battery is just for a day, and if you have any live wall papers then charge it every 8 hours.
6. Package should contain a protective screen guard also...

Overall dual sim works excellently and till date didnt have any issues.
