Spice QT-68

So, here it goes..
I've ordered this Spice QT-68 Mobile phone along with San Disk 4GB Memory Card on dated 3rd of May 2012 and with no surprise I got my Consignment on 7th may 2012 as promised by Flipkart...
Once again they lived upto my expectations, awesome service. Hats-off.
The Packaging was quite impressive.
As I was still having many doubts regarding the good inside the package, So i called to the Customer Care Service, just to get informed by all the terms & conditions, they were very cooperative, as usual.
So now coming back to the mobile. Opened the Poly-packed package and found the box securely wrapped with bubble-wraps, after removing that,faced another secure carton held the Mobile securely within, Removed that too.
And now It was only me and Spice QT-68, the Box reached me without any damage all seal-packed.
I've read many reviews about this Spice QT-68, everybody blabbering about its defects. But there was mine trust on Filpkart that I still ordered this mobile. And to my surprise, I haven't faced any single malfunction or error in this phone (though I expected some). and its working sound and perfect.
Coming up to the Mobile, Being a proud owner of Micromax Q5fb for last 2 years, there was nothing much difference except I've been upgraded from TRACKBALL to TOUCH PAD, from 2M.P. camera to 3.2M.P. Camera (which is quite impressive), from no WiFi to WiFi (the WiFi works amazing on this Phone).
But every good thing comes with a sacrifice, there were few this that bugged me a little...
As I've been pampered with Built-in YAMAHA Amplifier in my Q5fb, listening songs on QT-68 is really a pain to my ears (Yes it gives one a feel that he is using some Chinese phone) But it becomes nice when ear-piece are plugged. Another thing which I felt problematic was it did not support the option to minimize the java Applications unlike my Q5fb which I really miss...
Rest every thing is fine with this phone, I've tested it to its limits, Gone as brutal as I can, Inserted two 8GB cards (fully loaded) yet the mobile didn't slagged and Worked Normally.

At last I want to conclude that its a steal deal at this Price range, though few sellers in comptetion with Flipkart are selling this for Rs. 1,999, but no one can assure you such awesome service delivery as Flipkart does.

I know some of you who are about to put this piece to cart may find this review disturbing but please take this review seriously.

Bought this piece from Spice store because I'd to leave for Amarnath and couldn't wait for delivery from flipkart (despite I personally found flipkart delivery and service excellent).

- First of all "a" button of headset was hard to press
- Bought it on 02/07/2012 and at the time of writing this review couldn't connect it to WiFi (I had used over 4 phones in last one year and I know how to configure a Wifi router in my home so please don't doubt on my skills to connect to Wifi)
- Camera is waste , it's like old chinese phone's camera
- Software is completely of chinese phone, haven't expected this from Spice
- No shortcut key for keypad lock though no option for locking the keypad
- Pity for the users who have used this phone and based on their review I had purchased the phone but now I regret

Once again Flipkart kept my expectation.

I was searching for a cheaper qwerty one with some necessary features.I read so many reviews of qwerty sets in 4k range and I found each and every set is unable to keep the features promised. At last I ended up with this phone and I went through the review of it. I have been using this mobile for more than 40 days with 16gb fully loaded cards.It has

Decent look.
Qwerty keypad is easy enough to type.
Speaker is ultimate(better than those china handsets).
Camera is ok.
Internet is working properly.
Wifi is ok but not very fast.
Fully charged battery ran for 1.5 days for general use.
All other features are working as promised.

But beside this it has also got some draw backs

Use of ear phone is necessary while talking.
While taking pic shaking the phone only a bit will give you totally blurred photo. And camera is not 3.2MP for real.
Takes long time for java to open and close.
Phone gets a bit slow when multitasked.
Battery is not powerful.

So a qwerty handset for this range, this is the best. You wont regret but will value each and every penny.

I bought this phone in this month only and it's a quite nice phone.But i was facing some problems with my handset.But then I complained to flipkart and they gave me a wonderful assistance.they quickly replaced my handset with a new one.thank you flipkart.
The phone has some good specifications such as
camera is 3.2 megapixel which is quite impressive.
camera quality is good.
speaker sound is loud and nice.
qwerty pad is vrty nice and easy to type.
Internet works properly.
Music player is nice.
Bluetooth works very fast.
Wi fi works good
Apps are good.
Internet apps msuch as yahoo opera works good but a little slow.
The phone looks very decent as blackberry.

Overall The phone is quite good at this price.
I am quite satisfied with this handset and I have no regret for buying this..

I have been using this phone for last one month, and it is a very nice phone. looks awesome, and performs well. Specially its MP3 player and video players are fantastic. track-pad navigation is lovely and dual memory card allows to store huge amount of data on the phone. But the camera is not very quick, so it becomes very hard to snap the running scenery or slightly moving objects. Even still images are not of very good quality, despite having a 3.5 MP camera. There are problems in internet browsing also, because most of the times it shows 'out of memory' on opening some sites. There is an Ebook reader also, which reads the txt files, but that doesn't serve the purpose well. But overall it's a good phone in this price range. One can go for it, if do not wish to go beyond 2500.
