Body
The Steelseries Sensei has a smooth and glossy finish. The mouse is designed in such a way that is provides comfort, even during extended sessions of gaming. The mouse has 8 buttons in total. This includes the usual left- and right-click buttons along with an illuminated scroll wheel. 2 buttons lie of the left side, just where you place your thumb. 2 more buttons are available on the ride side of the mouse. The final button is placed just below the scroll wheel.
Weighing 102 grams, the sensei comes in the dimensions of 68.3 X 38.7 X 125.5 mm. The Sensei has customizable lighting, allowing you to configure the lighting in the mouse according to your preference. The 3 zones where you can reconfigure the lighting are the scroll wheel, the dpi switch and the logo of the mouse. You can choose from 16.8 million different colors and set any one as your favourite.
The mouse also has a LCD display on its base. This allows you to easily adjust the ExactTech settings. You can even upload bitmap images of your gaming clan to display on the LCD menu, making it a truly versatile product. You can easily connect the mouse to your computer through a USB port.
Performance
The buttons available on the Sensei mouse are completely reconfigurable, giving you maximum customization. The mouse has a large 5,700 dpi. This gives the mouse faster and quicker movement capability. The unique thing about the sensei mouse is that the dpi can be amped up to 11,400 dpi, giving you extreme speed.
The Sensei mouse features the exceptional ExactTech settings. There are 4 different types of ExactTech settings to choose from. These include ExactLift: this allows you to adjust lift distance, ExactAim: this allows you to decelerate the mouse to get perfect headshots, ExactAccel: this allows you to accelerate your movements and play faster and ExactSens: this helps you to easily control the mouse’s sensitivity.
The mouse can be used on any surface, including reflective ones. Sensei features a plug-and-play system, allowing you to easily connect the mouse to any computer without having to install the software every time. The mouse allows the creation of multiple game profiles. This makes it easy to play different games without having to change the controls every time.

Awesome mouse!!
I play counter-strike 1.6 on steam, it took me 2 months ... yes I took too much time to get adjusted to this thing. I used to play with a Desktop Microsoft 800 DPi mouse before this. But Once I got used to this you can't believe how awesome your game improves.

Superb Mouse!
The surface is quite smooth. At first first sight it looks almost too fragile but I guess that's just because it's a new item and I wanted to be cautious handling it.

Great Mouse - Minor Hiccups
The only con I experienced with this mouse is a minor hiccup I experienced while updating the firmware with the Steelseries engine.
It helps if customization of the mouse is done using the SS engine and loaded onto the mouse (on board profiles). The engine can then be disabled as it uses...
