I have been using this mouse for like 4-5 months. At first it was quite irritating because I was using Deathadder before this one. XAI's clicks are considerably hard as compared to Deathadder. At first this was annoying but later-on it started to feel good but it wud hve been better if they werent as hard as they are. I mostly play Counter-strike 1.6 so my review is based on the experience of playing just that game with XAI. Please note that I use a Cloth pad or a soft mouse pad.
1)- Tracking is just out of this world. Deathadder is no match for XAI when it comes to tracking.
2)- Plug n Play feature is a boon for a frequent gaming cafe gamer.
3)- Dpi settings in the increment of 1 dpi gets u a very accurate dpi setting for your comfort.
4) huge area covered by Teflon Mouse Feet which ensures smooth gliding over almost any mouse pad which is not at all possible with DA.
1)- Clicks are a little too hard.
2) Some of the supposedly advanced technological features which were supposed to enhance our gaming experience are pretty much useless.
3) "Single click works as double click" issues very common among XAI users. Atleast almost 90% of the XAI users that i know are facing this problem. Since it is a 5300 rs mouse so i expected a little more durability from this mouse. My friends have been using Kinzu for an year or so and they haven't had any problems with it whatsoever. This is the real bummer. As of now my mouse is in warranty period so i can get it replaced but what when the warranty period is over. Surely we are not expected to buy a new 5300 Rs mouse every year?.
Its one of the best gaming mouses I have ever seen. Its average sized and quite comfortable. No shiny LEDs etc. just to make it look good. Its simple and sleek. The in-built setting system is quite good and its basic mouse shaped so there not bit of a problem to get used to this mouse. Its very precise. Only problem is that I am starting to have double click issues after like 6-7 months.
