Originally from Delhi, Rashmi Kumar lives in Canada with her husband and son. She graduated in literature and later studied journalism. Stilettos in the Newsroom is her first book and gives an account of the seven years she spent in journalism. Earlier, she had worked for an NGO that cared for the mentally distressed and suicidal.
