The art of business management is to provide the stimuli that people want and need, whether they be customers, suppliers, employees, or colleagues, in order to act. Action is a result of the stimulus factor at work. It is far too simplistic to assert that purchasing decisions are based on a set of rational factors, such as price, product, service, etc., just as it is far too simplistic to assert that employee performance is based on energy, skill experience and talent.
Action originates in a spark that ignites doing. It's time to stop anticipating and begin creating that spark.
