He was imprisoned for five years, after which all charges were dropped. Thirty years since Operation Blue Star, Simranjit’s daughter, Pavit Kaur looks back on the years of her father’s hellish journey in jail. Stolen Years is a moving and personal account of a family during one of the most distraught and chaotic times in history of modern India.
