    Must read :D

    Hey Ayaan !
Done with your book. Honestly I was not in mood of reading. My boards are around corner so I packed nearly 400 books but I was not able to pack amazon packet. Around 10:00 pm at night I started reading. And I love it. Sometimes you come across a book which touches your soul Ami, Kolkata… was same. I will rate it 4/5. There were places which required little more details and some required less. Over all my experience with book was nice. I felt like I was there. Living each moment. ...

A blend of Facts and Emotions!! I simply loved sailing thru it.

After a long time I read a book which was not just a love story or a relationship story. In fact as I read the book I felt the city 'Kolkata well', I hv now a craving to visit it.

Now coming to the story, one guy (Bad luck with girl), pure at heart and intentions, two females who cud not understand his soul. One confused with herself one too Open with herself.

I loved each and every word of it, I strongly recommend this book to those who want to feel heart.

    The tale of adolescence

Being a first time author I must say its a decent start.

The novel is all about teen love and puzzlement, the best part is that you can relate yourself with the incidents..

The tale started rolling after the 13th chapter....... loved the teeny-weeny details of the City of joy and the cover page..... would have appreciated a bit more zest to cut the pace of the story....

    All the very best Ayaan!!

    Interesting and engaging story!

Excellently designed cover and catchy title of the book is the reason why I was eager to read this book.

The best part of the story is, the author Ayaan Basu has successfully kept his narrative engaging through out. Series of conflicts at regular intervals pursues the reader to finish the story in a single sitting.

What I wonder is why the book title includes 'Ami Kolkata and Confessions'? Neither it's a Kolkata specific story line (it can happen anywhere on this earth), nor there is any 'c...

    A memorable journey

It felt more like a journey than a storm... A young river (rather a torrent) gushing through life with infuriating speed when it understands the inevitable truth.. 'To let it's destiny grab hold of it instead of it clutching onto it desperately.'

A great read.... simple, lucid and honest.

Great job Ayaan Basu. Liked all the characters, all of them are different shades of grey but somewhere at the core they are all searching for the same thing. Kudos!!!

Simple , Blissful and Inspiring read

I grabbed the book from store just by looking at the name and off-course the author's name was known for me but I was not able to recollect correctly.

Taking a look at the back-cover , I remembered the face who sang "Telephone"
in one of the program in Gorky Sadan with his band long back.

Excited to read the book and finished it in less than three hours and I must
say , I am in love with Aryan for being from nobody to a true gentleman till the end .
Also a kudos to you to write about your ...

BEGUILED, TORN OPEN AND IN DEEP JOY!

It started on an unwilling note... I do not think very highly of many Indian writers... except some great lamps.... I picked it inspite of that purely because of the beauteous name of the book... I mused later in delight .... A piece of work... as deep, as soulful....! The narrations are made of nothing but the finest part of pure love .. Immured I was, by will.... a sheer will to be in those pages that threw magical love at me.... We read for the joy of feeling surreal things.... This book ...

A must read for all those who are or have ever been in love:)

Aryan's character is so appealing and real that you cannot possibly digress yourself away at any point in the book...d language is simple and can be followed by everyone irrespective of the age bar...the best part about the book is that throughout the read you feel so connected to the events that are described, that a lot of times you cannot deny the same happenings in your own lives at some point in time...Clear, neat and a heart touching story beautifully presented in a few pages..Has defin...

A beautiful cover with a heart-touching nostalgic story

"You portrayed protagonist Aryan as a character who always gives up to the situation and Kaira to be a much stronger character compared to him in the story - in short I felt the book is more like female dominated flow of incidents but I liked three major things in this novel -

1.) The cover page speaks for the story
2.) The twist in the end was unpredictable
?3.) The flow of story went well from present to past with the two females"

    All the best !!

    The Storm in my mind....

    Well!!!

I've so many things to write, but not finding an appropriate word to describe your writing. As this is the third time am reading your book, but still it feels so fresh in my mind.
It's nicely written, well described, got the fragrance of Kolkata. As, I personally know Faiyaz and his sense of humor, so can actually relate to him. And, I know you have a long way to go.

    Best of Luck!!!
