This is such a beautiful and soothing album....best enjoyed on a quiet night with dim lights. The songs are very smooth and there's something for everyone in it's tracklist. I especially like 'Boitha Maro', 'Kyun Hota Hai Pyar' and 'Ding Guzre Woh'. I highly recommend it!

i have been following Papon since i saw him live at the NH7 concert in pune. Barish Ki Boondein, Din Guzre, Aankhee are the standout songs in the album.

I would have loved to see the "duma dum mast kalandar"- Papon's version which i heard him sing live.

Overall a good album and a good buy

Excellent work. That is what i call music. Just sails the mind in with the cool waves of the river. I like it best when I put off the light and be alone in my room and relax flat on the couch. This way i can listen to each and every strings played and music created. This album is not only songs, i enjoy each and every notes. It is an unbelievable creation.
I think to create this type of music, needs extreme passion for music looking at today's trend. As this album is not fit for vulgar dance after drinking.
This is only for those who wants peace of mind and wants to add a gem in his treasure collection. Simply wonderful.

Ever since I heard "Boitha Maro Re" I wanted this song in good quality and I got it in this album. New tracks are good.. must listen. Songs such as "Baavle Jharne" and "Din Guzre who" are complimentary. Loved it!

Bhavle jharne and Boitha maro‘s Eastern sound is beautifully enhanced by the tasteful inclusion of modern sounds, particularly in the latter. Barish ke boondein and Din guzrein play out like gorgeous ghazals, in Papon’s expressive voice, while Chhoti chhoti‘s lazy tune and guitar strums are endearing. Duur and Jonaaki raati are fabulously trippy, the latter, sound-wise and the former, in every way! Kyon hota and Main chalta are the album’s most catchy and filmy, even as Aankhee explores Papon’s range in interesting psychedelic pop. But for its lyrics, Keep rolling is wonderfully sing-along’ish. Long overdue and fitting debut by Papon!

This album by Papon is a must buy for all Papon da's fan's and non fans too coz after listening to this album "Papon" will be added to ur fan list.....Such melancholic tracks with a folk and Indian touch....
