Summary of the Book

Bahlool was a mad man. He dressed in rags, and he was clearly off his rocker. However, is it possible that this is an act? Bahlool’s times in the Baghdad of the 8th Century A.D. are truly a time of lost feelings for mankind, but there is no reason to fear. About Sufi Comics

Sufi Comics was started by two brothers Mohammed Ali Vakil and Mohammed Arif Vakil. The authors grew up in Dubai and were influenced by the stories of the Prophet Muhammad and his Holy Progeny. The brothers are currently based in Bangalore, India.

Note on the Artistic Style

This comic book is significant for its use of a Persian style of art, favouring miniatures. Each chapter is followed by a traditional inscription from the Quran, inked using a reed stick. Thus it showcases a unique respect for Islamic heritage using two of its most prominent features: an innate appreciation for all art and a truly philosophical intent which seeks only to do good to all men and show them the way to salvation.
