very fast boiling for both milk and water. can cook soup and noodles also.

I have been using this product for the past 5 months. I am really satisfied with the performance of this kettle.

It has enough capacity (1.2 litres), beautiful design and safety features like auto-shutoff, covered heating element etc. It is very good for boiling water. Water boils in about 5 mins. We can also make tea or coffee also in it. Since it has a detachable bottom, it can be used also as a jug without the powercord dangling behind.

Boiled water had a slight plastic taste in the beginning, but upon usage it got reduced and within a few days the water quality got ok. But if you are too worried about that better go for a steel kettle.

This kettle cannot be used for cooking (we cannot cook even Maggi in it), because of the auto-shutoff feature in it. When it reaches boiling temperature, it gets switched off and we have to wait for a few minutes again to switch it on. But the company never claims that it can be used for cooking, they are promising only that it is good for boiling water/making tea/coffee. They designed it for that purpose only.

I do not wish here to let you consume extraneous efforts by reading the words of appreciation regarding the product delivery service of Flipcart. I assume that my product related recommendations may attract your attention in order to avoid the potential ambiguity of whether to purchase it or not.
This kettle is an excellent appliance to meet your usual requirements, especially for those who intend an instant accomplishment of various tasks, such as: making tea, coffee and even preparing Magi as well. Somebody claimed in his review that it doesn't let you prepare Magi as it shuts off automatically during that time. But I didn't detect such an issue. In fact, I extensively use it for preparing Horlics, boiling milk and preparing Magi.
The only thing in which I failed is to boil egg in it. But Don't worry, I knew that it was an incorrect attempt as the kettle is basically designed to boil water, milk etc. I was initiating an experiment which caused me to sacrifice 6 eggs because of its uneatable condition.
Moreover, it does not produce any plastic taste as mentioned in some reviews, though it is extremely less and it will gradually diminish after a few days of use.
To conclude, I must say, it is a great product. If you plan to purchase it then simply go for it without a second thought about its performance.

I should say this is the best product in the kettles below Rs 1000.

Pros:
1) Cheap for a product which has auto-shut off, concealed heating element and a decent brand (Sunflame)
2) Product has a good build.

Cons:
1) A gives a plastic smell in the water when I use this. It is not a very strong smell and it seems to go down with time. May be after few months the smell will not be there.

If you are gonig to use it often and say you might use it for food some times, better go for a stainless steel ones (may be from morphy richards).

This is real good for office or even at home for a quick tea / coffee. Its portable so one can take it around. The auto switch off is good. The heating is real quick - but be careful if you are heating milk. The capacity is good

The only thing that I found a bit of an issue was the alignment of the base - whether it was designed to be at an angle for proper connection?
