Superman (English, Paperback, Waid Mark)
A baby is sent to Earth from a dying planet to find a new home, growing up to become a hero that stands for truth, justice and the American way. Superman Birthright is Mark Waid’s epic reinvention of the Superman origin story.
Summary of the Book
Clark Kent has it all. He is smarter than most people, good looking, charming and he has certain other skills. He can move faster than a speeding bullet, he is more powerful than a locomotive, and he can leap tall buildings in a single bound. However, he has yet to find purpose in his life. He has always known that he wasn’t from the planet Earth, he is the sole survivor of the dead planet Krypton, sent by his parents to find a new home. However, when an army legion appears to wreak havoc on his city, claiming to know of his existence, what will Clark Kent do? Will he risk his safety for the sake of those he barely knows, or will he hide? This book revamps the Superman storyline for the first time since the Man of Steel miniseries by John Byrne.
