Symphony 12 L Tower Air Cooler  (DiET 12T_dummy)

Just bought it on 30 march and on 13 April the water pump has been stopped working, didn't thought it will go so poor . very disappointing Flipkart and the seller and there is no quality check from the company as well.
I have registered a complaint to the Symphony company for the service check but no replay from them yet. Hope its fixed soon

very much portable, you can put it any where it is desired very. Give cool and fresh air. Motor is good i am using it on lowest speed. Its good for single room of 100 sq ft area.

I just got this Air cooler...its just awesome... i live in chennai where its difficult to stay without ac...But this really proved it...we can live with coolers also....with normal water it gives a normal cooling...
But when we use cold water it really makes the difference....
And der is not much diff btw 12 and 22 litres as both are the same except the capacity....
....A true Diet consumes very less electricity max the powr of two Bulbs....

I think symphony has again proved its technology.....

I am writing this review after 4 years of usage. I am really impressed with the longevity. I had serviced once on four year,replaced the cooling pad once. However, i recommend to replace every year to get best performance and aviod foul smell . No complaints so far. It is recommended for single user. It is very compact and movable, serves the purpose. Works with inverter too.

Customer Service is extremely bad though.

Defect product - When I raise the complaint, flipkart agreed to send the executive to check the product, but no one has come. After a week, I received a call from flipkart stating return accepted and on pick up the product,the same will be initiated. I had waited for more than a week. But suddenly they have cancelled it without any reason. Very poor experience with flipkart which I never had earlier.

Most of the positive reviews I saw here are from excited users who seemed to have hardly used this for a few days or so. However, after using this cooler for a month, I am compelled to write this. Let me start with pros (they aren't much, but still)

* Good air throw.
* Effective cooling. But only for whatever period it works.
* Compact size most (suitable for Bachelors)

Cons

* Loud noise from pump within 15 days after purchase.
