Symphony Jumbo Jr Room Cooler

I purchased this cooler from Flipkart based on the positive features mentioned on Flipkart. However, I was disappointed by its size and performance which is not good enough to cool a room of 100 sft. Also, its pump stopped working in less than two months. I approached Symphony on customer care number which was nothing but a useless and cumbersome automated IVRS. No response from any compnay representative even after 24 hours of registring the complaint on IVRS. Frustrated, I registered the complaint on company's site and received an SMS after 10 hours that some one from xyz service centre would visit to set it right. However, even after two days, no one turned up and I had to get it repaired from a local mechanic at my own cost. I regret having spent almost double the amount when such poor quality product is available in the market for less than 3000 with one year warranty. I have been cheated, please dont get cheated by buying this product from a manufacturer which does not know the meaning of customer service. And Flipkart should desist from endorsing products of such company which cheats its customers.

I have purchased symphony jumbo jr for use in kolkata and i am quite satisfied with the product. It is noiseless and economical, consuming only 100 watts. The cooling level is quite good for the size, however i recommend a larger machine for use in climates like that of Kolkata. Actually, here we have temperature above 40 C and humidity levels above 90 percent so a very large evaporative machine is required to produce appreciable cooling. It is very likely that jumbo jr will be very effective in drier climates.

This cooler is not recommended, actual air throw is not even 6 ft. cooling is not more than 75 sq.ft . Not worth for the money being paid. Beware friends please avoid this cooler. The cooler is very cumbersome and is made of very cheep plastic. The vent for water inlet is also very cumbersome.

I want a cool cooler with normal size with maximum cooling capacity. I perches it from flipkart.com in last month. Basically it's a fantastic cooler for simple normal home. The noise free cooler. The delivery system and support are great from flipkart.
