Symphony Practice Book 1: A Course In English Based On The Revised Matriculation Syllabus

Symphony – A Course in English for Tamil Nadu Matriculation Schools is a series of nine Readers and Practice Books for classes 1 to 9. Based on the new syllabus for matriculation schools in Tamil Nadu, the books give the learner immense opportunities to achieve the required language skills at each level. Symphony provides a dynamic reading experience through the rich and varied contexts of English literature, both classic and contemporary—translations, science, fiction, humour, adventure, sport to name a few. The texts have been chosen and graded carefully and include those recommended by the new syllabus. Symphony aims at integrating linguistic knowledge and skills into communicative strategies for real-life situations which the learner will experience in his or her social environment.
