Majid Husain is an author and professor.

He has authored numerous texts in Geography. Some of these titles are Indian and World Geography, World Geography, Evolution Of Geographical Thought, Fundamentals of Physical Geography, and Geography Of India.

Dr. Husain is dedicated to his research and teaching. Earlier, he was the Head Of Department of Geography at North Eastern Hill University, Jamia Millia Islamia, and the University of Kashmir. Dr. Husain has the uncanny ability to simplify difficult geographical concepts. His writings are read and acclaimed all over the world. Some of his texts are used as reference books and standard texts. Dr. Husain is currently a professor in the Department of Geography, at Jamia Millia Islamia, in New Delhi.
