This is a book for beginners and covers just fundamentals. This book is out of print by the end of the year (2010) and has been replaced by "Beginning SQL Joes 2 Pros".
About The Author Rick Morelan has worked more than 10 years at Microsoft and has attained over 30 Microsoft technical Certifications in applications, networking, databases and .NET. In 1994, you could find Rick braving the frigid waters of the Bering Sea as an Alaska commercial fisherman without any computer skills at that time. In 1995 his training began at Catapult, and later that year, began his first database job at Microsoft. Since then Rick has worked over 10 years at Microsoft on major database projects. Today Rick does corporate database training, contracting, and consulting for various companies in Washington State and is currently a member of the Bellevue College Database Advisory group. He has truly made the leap from "Joe to Pro".
