Easy + page turner +

wel.. this bk wel describes "Tara" a south indian gal.. who is quite logical and weird in her own ways.. gets hitched to a fellow.. for quite logical reasons.. and then her marriage journey.. each aspect well explained.. (complicated/confused/romantic/sad and many other situations..) over all.. I liked the book.. about to complete it in sometime :)

P.S. Either you are married / looking forth for an arranged or love marriage... doesnt matter :p

Beautifully Described

Take One Arranged Marriage by Shoma Narayanan is a wonderful book .The Title of the book is apt .What i like about this book is the characters that are well described like Mr. Sundaram ,Tara his wife who is sandwiched between two of them which normally happens in arranged marriages & Vikram and his parents Mr. Krishnan and his wife

A nice read but...

This book explores a weird kind of love. It is mainly driven by lust and it shows. Some parts will be quite light and good to read while, some parts seem tedious and uneccessary. Some parts seem to have been added in as an afterthought just to enhance Tara's character, though, she is an endearing one without them too..
Vikram is a scoundrel and probably one of those people you would like with time. However, i did not like him as a person or character. Some parts of him did not really make sen...

Coming back on the expectations of another love story from the author considering her debut novel i had read, it was diluted. having read how well she wrote the first story this one is all based on arrange marriage with the love factor coming in from the wife.

Its a mix. an ok read if you like love in any form. if you are a strict love marriage person then skip this one
