Talk of the Town: Stories of Twelve Indian Cities is exactly the kind of book every child should have in her or his library. It is full of information and this is presented in a very lively manner. In between the chapters, notable authors have commented on their cities so that children may read what William Dalrymple says about Delhi, Anita Nair says about Bangalore and Ambai says about Chennai. It is a good book and makes an excellent gift.
