Teaching In General English

That there is danger of forgetting the importance of content in determining educational methods and results. It is obvious that the child is the central and important element in educational activity; but learning activities are concerned with facts and materials and situations. English plays a vital part in the ordinary mental and social activities of life; but it is also a body of knowledge traversing the gamut or racial experience, an art from embracing many varities and aset of habits which function in daily living.
