Teaching Science In Elementary Schools

Science has its importance in elementary education only as it serves boys and girls and, through them, the democracies fo which they are a part. This stress on chidlren rather than on scinence is stated here as a standard, or criterion, that has been attempted to live by as this book has been written. The teacher must recognise always that chidlren are greater than science.
