SWEET `n’ SIMPLE ROMANTIC FILM WITH A FEEL GOOD FACTOR
The chemistry between the lead stars (Ritesh Deshmukh and Genelia Deshmukh)in their first film after their marriage, is awesome. Ritesh’s performance is decent. Genelia really is the surprise package of the movie. She is brilliant and it is undoubtedly her best performance till date. Om Puri is as always fabulous. Tinnu Anand and the rest of the ensemble cast is also good. There are a few really good comic scenes and the romantic scenes are handled very well.
The forte of the movie lies in perhaps its music. Both the songs by Atif Aslam (Piya O Re Piya and Tu Mohabbat Hai) are absolutely superb. Atif Aslam has, as always proven his capabilities as an exceptional singer. Jeene De by Mohit Chauhan is simply fabulous. Pee Pa Pee Pa is decent and helps to take the story forward. Fann Ban Gayi is unnecessary and perhaps the only flaw in the movie, from a family audience point of view (Since when did sweet romantic films start having cheap item numbers?)
P.S. – The surprise at the end of the movie was Atif Aslam’s music video, about which I was completely unaware of (he’s my personal favourite singer). It can be perfectly described as the icing on the cake.
This movie is a MUST WATCH for its music and feel good factor.

Excruciating waste of time
I love frothy comedies and love stories. I also love Ritesh Deshmukh (his Kya Kool Hain Hum and Bluffmaster performances are classic) and Genelia (JTYJN). I went in expecting a PriyaDarshan-eqsue comedy of errors. It turned out to be an excruciating waste of two hours, with very casual acting, boring plot, bad songs, and direction reminiscent of the other black-hole "Pyar ka Punchnama". But I see some 5-star ratings for this DVD, so maybe I am just too old....
