Terrorism - A Global Phenomenon

It has been stated that terrorism is a global phenomenon. It is global because of the mass media which glorifies and globalises conflict, blood shed and terror. It is global because violence and murder have become central to the films that come on the small screen everyday and the whole culture of the post-modern world in which there has been a progressive dimunition of the human being and the triumph of machines and mechanisms. It at this moment is affected by internal terrorism with which a neighbouring country or countries are inextricably connected. It is necessary to achieve complete regional cooperation within a global understanding of this extremely serious issue, unless we wish to see our civilisations annihilated and human beings losing their lives by the hundreds everyday.
