Environmental Science is the study of the interactions among the physical, chemical and biological components of the environment, with a focus on pollution and degradation of the environment related to human activities, and the impact on bio-diversity and sustainability from local and global development.
About Author :
K. Ramana Murthy (b.1942) is associated with Centre for Management of Environmental Resources (CMER), Patna as an Associate Professor. He obtained his bechelor's and master's degree from University of Madras and went on to study at Carleton University, Ottawa, on scholarship basis. He is an author of two books, monographs, articles and reports on environmental impacts.
