The present book entitled "Textbook of Plant Pathology" is a compilation work and embodies a fairly comprehensive treatment of the fundamental facts of the subject. The plant pathology will serve as an introduction to the subject of pathology to the beginners in this field. Many new topics and lates researches have been added in the text. Actually the present edition of the book has been elevated to fullfill th elong felt require of the students of graduate honours and post-graduate level of all Indian Universities.
About Author :
S.K. Singh did his M.Sc. (Ag.) Plant Breeding and Genetics from C.S., Azad University of Agricultural and Technology, Kanpur, in First Deivision with eighty percent makr. The title of M.Sc. (Ag.) thesi was "Studies on Combining Ability and Economic Heterosis for some Quantitative Traits in Wheat" under the guidance of Dr. Z. Ahmadd (Professor Wheat Breeder, Zonal Co-ordinator/Wheat NEPZ) during the period of 1999 to 2001. Smt. Seema Srivastava done her M.Sc. Botany in 1993 from deen Dayal Upadhyay, University of Gorakhpur (U.P.). She obtained her B.Ed. degree from same university in 1996. Her carrier is throughout Ist class. She is presently teachingi n U.N.P.G. College, Padrauna, (U.P.).
