More than a cook book

I have read this book and sure that it is a treasure trove for those who have basic ideas on bengali cooking. Thanks to the author for taking an initiative to record authentic bengali recipes which were served in Thakurbari (the Tagore family). Tradition of bengali cooking, nostalgia and a bit of thakur bari's history all are captured into a single frame work.

Please do not buy this book

Please refrain from buying this book. It does not have any measurements of the ingredients and none of the ways described to cook are anything special. The recepies mentioned in here are from everyday cookery in any Bengali family. The name given for this book, is highly misleading.Tagore should not be exploited to this extent.
