The Best of their Re-Invention Saga
'Achtung Baby', 'Zooropa' and 'Pop' are the albums that redefined U2 as a band. The Best of 1990-2000 takes the very best tracks out of the three and gives a glimpse of how U2 dared to go overboard, away from the comfort zone. Also includes two tracks from their back-to-form 'All That You Can't Leave Behind'.
Tracks like 'The First Time' and 'Stuck In A Moment You Can't Get Out Of' could have easily been replaced with tracks like 'The Fly' and 'If You Wear That Velvet Dress' respectively.
But all in all it is one of those rare compilation albums that will take you back into the past and through their history.
