David Baldacci is an American author. Simple Genius, King and Maxwell, Deliver Us from Evil, Absolute Power, and The Sixth Man are some of his other books. David Baldacci is a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University. He later earned a degree in law from the University of Virginia. He practiced law in Washington D.C. for nine years. His first published novel was Absolute Power. This bestseller was made into a movie starring Clint Eastwood and Gene Hackman. Besides the thrillers for which he is famous, he has also written children's novels. He has written the screenplay for one of his novels’ movie version and is a consulting producer for King & Maxwell, the television series based on his books.
