If you have read the novel you will feel little disappointed as novel creates hell lot of expectation. But if someone not read the novel, will sure enjoy this movie. Jennf did a true justice with the role and you can immediately relate. so the Peta. Some more special effect at the end would have made move little grand. But overall I liked and thoroughly enjoyed. You can watch with family.

Maybe it is because I am a really big fan of the books, but I found the movie really disappointing. It didn't feel as grand as described in the books. It failed to capture the scale of Capitol and Hunger Games. Jennifer Lawrence is the perfect Katniss, but the rest of the cast doesn't fit into their roles as easily. In general, the movie lacked continuity.

The wife and I randomly picked this movie one Friday, and boy were we glad! It was incredible! We actually then picked up and read all 3 books in the trilogy! Can't wait for the next movie; my favorite book in the trilogy!
