The Professional

I bought this book in 2010, and almost completed it within 3 months.
This book was suggested to me by a senior Program Manager in my company, where I work. He himself had read this book when he had around 4-5 years of experience, but he suggested me to start it earlier.
After reading this book, I felt the difference between the student life and the professional life. Lot of things need to be learned before being part of a professional world. The earlier you are aware, the farther you go.
I would highly recommend this book to the young generation, who are about to start their career after completing their studies, and also to senior managers, may be they will also learn something new to adopt in their day to day routine.
Till date, I have read this book 2 times, and it continues...because learning is a lifetime process...

Read this book more than 1 year back. But the insight is very much in my words and acts each moment. This book must be in 1st semester in MBA courses and in 6/7 sem in Btech courses.. also a must for all Professional Students. A very good attempt to raise the motivation of soul.. Dead Picker Story is one of the best seed of wisdom in Book.

I feel this book is a 'Must Read' for every student/professional.
There are sooo many points that we take for granted in daily life and this book provides a decent shake up or brings you back to the real definition of a 'Professional'.

The book is all about how one can bring more of professionalism in one's own life.I had a wonderful time reading the book.One must read it.The book focuses on some instances which help to get a clear picture of what Mr. Bagchi wants to explain.The book should be made mandatory for the management students.

The books begins with the old fashioned value of Integrity and then really picks up . A good read . The exercise involving the test of company's perosnnel through a simulated (unbeknownst to employees) real world incident is good one.
