Advaita's second album, yet there are so many firsts in it!

Amazing music brought to you by Advaita once again. It's their second album, and they've just keep evolving. Never have I heard any other band/musician bring what they do the table.

This is a must if you love good music. Every song sets a mood that just transports you to different places.

ALSO THE ART WORK ON THE ALBUM IS AWESOMEEEE!!!

unique sound....advaitha signature

i ve been following advaitha since their first album GROUNDED IN SPACE. though this album gives a similar feel, it definitely does NOT beat the direction of melody the first album had.
the vocals (western and hindustani) do not fail to mesmerise, especially the hindustani singer. the lead guitars which had a much bigger role in the first album does nothing more than rhythm and arpeggios in this album. WHY SO?
the sarangi makes up for the lacking guitar solos.
bass and drums... as usual kick ass
The title track does not live up to expectations.
The tracks which i personal reccomend listeners to buy are
1)Spinning- everything about this song is beautiful
2)Gorakh- complete involvement in the raaga, great hindustani Khyaals
3)Gamapanipa- awesome sarangi solos.
4)Mandirva- nice riffs, tends to get repetitive
5)Mo-funk- hmmm.thagina thak thirkita tha tha..leaves u head banging.

Musically Brilliant

Advaita pushes the envelope yet again to deliver an album that is so quintessentially Indian yet ever so soft rock/pop in feel. Advaita have retained the laid back ambient quality from the first album, which is actually good. They've introduced a distinctly Carnatic element in Mo Funk and for that track alone I'd recommend buying the album.
My only gripe stems from the fact that Advaita sound like distilled horse manure in a pub. Otherwise, I've loved both their albums and attest to it's repeat listening quality.
